Welcome to Quintessence Institute (QI). QI was founded in 1995 to teach meditation to the public and help students balance the Body, Mind, and Spirit triad. QI serves also as a stepping-stone to the esoteric teachings of Sant Mat (Path of the Saints).
QI provides weekly classes, workshops, and weekend retreats to help students make the kind of consciousness changes necessary to accelerate their spiritual growth. We believe that Self-Knowledge precedes God-Realization, therefore, we concentrate our efforts on helping students to balance their body, mind, and emotions. This approach ensures maximum spiritual growth and success on the spiritual path.
QI programs begin with silent meditation on the inner Light and Sound of God within us. The inner Light and Sound is that creative principle that brought all things into being. Next, we introduce our students to QI's approach to accelerated spiritual growth. It's a methodology we developed called: Transitional Consciousness (TC). Transitional Consciousness (TC) uses several developmental stages to move students through a process of personal and spiritual growth. We then introduce the esoteric teachings of Sant Mat (Path of the Saints). Sant Mat provide a necessary and solid foundation in the esoteric teachings of the Saints, which is critical for gaining right understanding and harmonizing with the purpose of human life. We believe this is how one derives the maximum benefit from human life.
Transitional Consciousness (TC) includes these essential topics: Understanding the eternal God-into-Expression-Power, the two Grand Divisions of Creation, the Universal Law of Karma, Life after Death, Reincarnation, Transmigration of Souls, the Evolution of Consciousness, The benefits of Ethical living, Developing the Spiritual Virtues, Harnessing the Ego, Healing the Inner Child within, and the Five levels of Spiritual Mastery.

We spend whatever time necessary to help our students built the confidence they need to achieve right understanding. Right Understanding is the foundation of all spiritual growth and knowledge.
